The writing was actually really great, but Kay I mean I hate to say it but she ruined the book for me, maybe if her character had been more likable and not a mean girl I might have somewhat enjoyed the book. She was so mean and vicious to everyone, I dont know I just couldn't get behind a character who was a flat out bully. Even though I figured out who the killer was maybe like a few chapters in, I still wanted to find out why they did it, and the reasoning behind it was just like what? Totally unbelievable and just didn't make sense. I felt like who ended up being the killer was just randomly thrown in there to make it a surprise, but let's face it, it wasn't surprising at all.
